Clinician-led health screening
Preologi makes advanced screening easier to access, understand and act on. Guided by our team of experts, we pair the latest advancements in health screening technology with clear clinical advice – helping you make informed decisions about your health before, during and after screening.
Our mission

Bringing the latest evidence based health screening advancements directly to patients and the wider UK health sector
Our mission is to reduce premature deaths by providing direct access to the latest advancements in scientifically validated health screening technologies combined with expert clinical support. We believe the greatest gains in saving lives are found in the science of early detection and any screening should always be clearly explained and connected to a proper pathway of care. We are always clear about what each test can do and what it can’t. As the science of proactive health screening advances, Preologi will continue to bring the latest available technology to patients – working to close the gap between medical breakthrough and everyday clinical care.
Our values
Meet the team
Dr Michael Hickman
Founder & Managing Director
Dr Michael Hickman is Founder and Managing Director of Preologi, the first UK company to partner with GRAIL to bring the Galleri® multi-cancer early detection test directly to UK patients. He leads Preologi’s business development and growth, building partnerships with clinicians and private healthcare providers to widen access to early detection, so that cancer and heart disease can be found earlier, when outcomes are best.
A Consultant Cardiologist since 2008 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Michael has spent his career championing early diagnosis. At the Royal Surrey County Hospital he developed the complex pacemaker service, expanded advanced cardiac imaging and served as Clinical Lead for Cardiology. He was also regional lead for cardiovascular services across Surrey Heartlands. In 2019 he co-founded The Virtual Cath Lab, which provides rapid access to AI-assisted coronary imaging to detect the earliest signs of coronary artery disease.

Olivia Hatcher
Program Manager
Olivia Hatcher (BSc (Hons) Biomedicine) is Executive Assistant at Preologi, where she supports the day-to-day running of the business. He was Clinical Lead for Cardiology at Medefer for many years. He holds an MBBS from St George’s, University of London, and a PhD from King’s College London.
